A charming and collectible pair of salt and pepper shakers by celebrated Mexican designer Emilia Castillo, handcrafted in porcelain and pure silver (plata pura). These whimsical tabletop accessories feature sculptural frogs playfully climbing and resting atop smooth celadon green porcelain bodies, each adorned with inlaid silver dragonflies and finished with hand-perforated tops for dispensing.
Signed and dated by the artist on the base, one is inscribed “#9” and the other “#23,” both marked “Emilia Castillo MR Plata Pura Taxco Mexico” and dated 1998. With their delightful nature-inspired design and exceptional craftsmanship, these pieces embody Castillo's signature blend of organic motifs and luxurious materials, making them highly sought-after by collectors of modern Mexican decorative arts.

Local pickup is welcomed, please call in advance to setup an appointment and ensure the items are paid for before picking up. For out of state buyers we can provide shipping quotes or provide a list of shippers, we do not pack anything ourselves but we can drop off the pieces to a shipping store such as UPS or FedEx and arrange shipping with freight companies such as Plycon, Craters & Freighters, Tramo, Cube, and others.
