- Lot Description
Four (4) Garth Montgomery Williams (Colorado, 1912-1996) pencil on paper and tracing paper drawings, including two (2) self portraits, one titled and dated "Self Portrait / March 1932" lower right, the other on tracing paper; one (1) drawing of a woman, titled illegibly "Jane -----" lower left and dated 1958; one (1) drawing of a sleeping child with teddy bear. All signed "Garth Williams" or "Garth." All with accession or inventory numbers in pencil en verso. Ranging in size from 11 in. H x 8 1/2 in. W to 10 in. H x 14 3/4 in. W.
Condition
Light toning and creasing to some edges. Two minor tears to edges of self portraits, largest 1 1/4 in. L to portrait on tracing paper. Few scattered minute brown stains to top right corner of portait of woman.
