- Lot Description
Persian Heriz Serapi rug, wool on cotton foundation, geometric central medallion centered with white ground, all over geometric floral designs & red/salmon color background, floral spandrels and matching geometric floral border. 135 1/2" L x 106" W. Persia, late 19th/early 20th century.
Condition
Even pile wear with areas down to foundation. Areas of light and even fading and light abrash. Scattered areas of minor loss to selvage and fringe edges. Small hole near selvage edge 2" x 1".
