American coin silver tea and coffee pots used at Runnymede Plantation, South Carolina, each pear shaped with floral repousse decoration and central reserves engraved "C.A. Duncan" in script, and stamped on base G. BOYCE / N. YORK in rectangles for Geradus or Gheradus Boyce, working New York City 1814-1854. Teapot 11" H, Coffee Pot 13" H. Combined weight: 78.04 troy ounces.
PROVENANCE: By descent in the historic Pinckney family of Runnymede Plantation, South Carolina.
Condition
Age related cracking to ferrules, some persistent tarnish, otherwise very good condition.
