- Lot Description
Meyer R. Wolfe (Tennessee/New York, 1897-1985) carved and partially painted wood sculpture featuring a central figure with pointed crown joined by the angled profiles of other, shorter figures with flat crowns, all on a rectangular block base. Unsigned. 42 in H x 15 in W x 12 in D. Exhibited, "Meyer Wolfe: The Star of All Things," The Nashville Parthenon, Feb. 5-June 6, 2021.
Condition
Some chipping to the pointed crown of tallest figure, otherwise very good condition.
