Pair of two (2) Chinese Qing cloisonne enamel pricket candleholders decorated with scrolling foliate and fret motifs and taotie masks, all on a turquoise ground; circular drip pans; and bell-shaped bases. Both candleholders are fitted with hardwood stands. 14 5/8" H x 7" dia. Late 19th/early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Richard J. Eskind, Nashville.
Overall good condition with some oxidation to metal and candle wax and wear to the enameled surface, primarily to the drip pans. One candleholder with a loose shaft, top does not rest flush to the base. Both hardwood bases with minor losses to top edge.
