- Lot Description
Pair (2) Loetz Art Nouveau gilt and silver metal mounted iridescent green art glass vases, both with bulbous necks and flared bases, and an onion skin or crackle finish. Each is fitted with a gilt metal overlay of a silvered metal female holding a bird and standing upon a pad that extends up the vase body to form handles below the neck. Etched "Loetz Austria" to the underside. 11" H x 4 1/2" W x 4 3/4" D. Austrian, early 20th century.
Condition
Both vases overall very good condition, with minor scattered wear and patination to metal overlays, primarily to figures. One vase with losses to the bird held by the female.
