Robert Rauschenberg (American, 1925-2008) solvent transfer mixed media print with embossing, "No Name (Elephant)" from the portfolio "For Meyer Shapiro." Published by The Committee to Endow a Chair in Honor of Meyer Schapiro at Columbia University, New York. Signed, dated, and editioned "AP XII/XIII" in pencil, lower right, a proof impression aside from the edition of 100. Printed by Untitled Press, Inc., Captiva, Florida, with their blind stamp to lower right and their ink copyright stamp en verso, with additional date in pencil. Also inscribed "R.R.73 102," "N168," and "5551/3" in pencil to verso. Sheet: 27 7/8 in. H. x 20 1/8 in. W.
Condition
A very good impression, with vivid colors. Sheet with soiling along upper edge, especially, upper left, and 3 1/2-inch long abrasion or scuff to upper center. 2-inch x 1 1/2-inch area of soiling or discoloration to lower part of upper-right quadrant. With 1-inch x 3/8-inch area of liquid accretion, upper right, plus scattered specks of liquid accretions, largest to upper center, 1/4-inch x 1/4-inch. Old mounting tape and area of minor thinning along upper edge en verso.

Payment must be received no later than five (5) days after the sale.
Unless you are a known customer of Case Auctions, payment for all gold, precious metal, and gem lots must be made by bank wire transfer, ACH, certified bank check, or money order. No exceptions.
If you pick up your lots from any of our galleries, Tennessee state sales tax will apply. Sales tax will only be waived if you provide a valid resale certificate from your state of residence.
If paying with a credit card, a 3.5% credit card processing fee will be applied to the final sales price (i.e. hammer price + buyer's premium + applicable taxes). If you have a credit card on file with Case, any winning bids will be automatically charged (up to $3000) along with applicable fees 72 hours after you receive your invoice unless other arrangements have been made.
