Item 1: Yaacov (Gibstein) Agam (Israel/New York/France, b. 1928), "Liberty #2," aka "Flags of the World," multi-color geometric abstraction Op Art screen print, or Agamograph. Color screen-print on paper mounted onto lenticular plastic, signed lower center and numbered 90/99. Housed in a grey lacquered frame with beige concave fabric mat and gilt fillet. Sight: 14 1/2 in. H x 13 1/2 in. W. Framed: 23 in. H x 22 in. W. 2000. Item 2: Robert Remsen Vickrey (American, 1926-2011) "Old Clown with Ruff" lithograph, signed lower right and numbered 141/150. Housed in a cream gilt wood frame with double matting. Sight: 25 3/4 in. H x 18 in. W. Framed: 39 in. H x 31 in. W. 1970. Note: Vickery was known for his expressive realist paintings -often featuring nuns and clowns – produced in one of the most difficult mediums in art: egg tempera. He was first introduced to the medium during his studies at Yale University under Lewis E. York. He also studied briefly at the Art Students League in New York under Reginald Marsh and Kenneth Hayes Miller. As well as having a successful career as a painter, Vickrey was an avant-garde filmmaker, winning awards at the New York Golden Reel Festival, and illustrated over seventy-five cover portraits for Time magazine beginning in 1957.
Item 1: Print in good overall condition, with some even fading. Some stains and discoloration to the mat. Item 2: Print is in overall good condition. Some scratches to the frame.
Private Memphis Collection. Agam work was acquired from Lawrence Ross Galleries in Beverly Hills and is accompanied by a Certificate of Tirage and Certificate of Authenticity from Lawrence Ross.

Payment must be received no later than five (5) days after the sale.
Unless you are a known customer of Case Auctions, payment for all gold, precious metal, and gem lots must be made by bank wire transfer, ACH, certified bank check, or money order. No exceptions.
If you pick up your lots from any of our galleries, Tennessee state sales tax will apply. Sales tax will only be waived if you provide a valid resale certificate from your state of residence.
If paying with a credit card, a 3.5% credit card processing fee will be applied to the final sales price (i.e. hammer price + buyer's premium + applicable taxes). If you have a credit card on file with Case, any winning bids will be automatically charged (up to $3000) along with applicable fees 72 hours after you receive your invoice unless other arrangements have been made.
