American, 18th century. A Queen Anne armchair in cherry, having a decorated yoke crest over a vasifrom splat, open arms with swirl terminals and turned supports, the rush seat above block and turned legs with boldly turned front stretcher, rising on Spanish feet; ht. 41, wd. 24, dp. 24 in.
