Chinese Export, 19th century. A gilt lacquer sewing box with hinged lid, having brass handles and raised on four carved paw feet. The lid opens to reveal a fitted interior containing bone sewing implements. The box is fitted with a lower compartmentalized drawer; ht. 6.75, wd. 15, dp. 11 in.
