A tomahawk by the same maker can be found in the collections of the McCord Museum of Canadian History, Montreal, Quebec (collection number M12570.) The head with these markings is also discussed in Indian Tomahawks and Frontiersmen Belt Axes, (Hartzler and Knowles, 1995: p. 152, fig.70).
