.662 caliber smoothbore, 52.5" octagonal-to-round barrel, notched rear barrel sight with a brass blade front sight. Barrel is held to the stock by pins. Lock is a replacement, more than likely a old re-conversion. Brass trigger guard with acorn finial, brass ramrod ferules, early style butt with a brass buttplate. With illegible markings on the top of the barrel.
Barrel has a nice dark patina. Lock has been browned to match the barrel. Stock has had a repair behind the lock around the mortise. Overall has a nice dark patina look. Very good for an early fowler.
