Georgian Mahogany Inlaid Tea Caddies
English, late 18th-early 19th century. Two mahogany tea caddies, one of hexagonal form having inlaid borders, with inlaid shell and floral reserves to lid and front, an ivory kite-form escutcheon and double compartment interior. The second of square form with star inlay to lid interior and exterior; hexagonal caddy ht. 4.5, wd. 7.5, dp. 3.75 in., square caddy ht. 4.5, wd. 4.5, dp. 4 in.
