Grain-Painted Five-Drawer Chest
American, 19th century. A grain-painted chest of drawers in mixed woods, having a rectangular top with a shaped gallery above two aligned and three graduated and dovetailed drawers, the faces fitted with Bennington-style pottery pulls, all rising on bracket feet with cutout ends; ht. 48.75, wd. 41.75, dp. 21 in.
Some surface wear as would be expected with age and use, including some small nicks and chips. A couple of age splits to lower right side panel. Some restorations to interior of case. Pulls probably not original.
