Louis XV-style Marble-Top Side Tables with Gilt Mounts
Continental (French), 20th century. A pair of Louis XV-style side tables in mahogany, each having a kidney-shaped marble top with a three-quarter, pierced brass gallery, above a conforming frieze drawer, all rising on reeded supports joined by a crossbanded stretcher shelf and continuing to cabriole legs ending in sabots, the whole with gilt metal trim and scrolling, floral mounts; ht. 30.25, wd. 29.5, dp. 17 in. (each).
Minor surface wear and imperfections as would be expected with age and use. One table with a couple spots of small/light scratches to marble top. Brass galleries slightly pulling away from tops/shelves in a few spots. One table with some tiny moisture dots/stains on back of rear right leg.
