Louis XV-style Parquetry Stands with Marble Tops
Continental (French), 20th century. A pair of Louis XV-style parquetry stands in mahogany and mixed wood veneers, each having an oval marble top with a three-quarter, pierced brassgallery, above a stack of three conforming, dovetailed drawers, all rising on cabriole legs joined by a kidney-shaped stretcher shelf and ending in sabots, the drawer fronts, case panels, and stretcher shelves with dark and light wood inlay; ht. 29.5, wd 18.5, dp. 13.25 in. (each).
Minor surface wear and imperfections as would be expected with age and use, including some small/light scratches and nicks. One commode with a crack to rear right leg just above stretcher shelf.
