A Hepplewhite secretary in mahogany, the bookcase with inlaid crest and central eagle finial, over doors with diamond panes opening to two shelves over three aligned drawers and seven pigeonholes, the lower case with fold-down leather-covered writing surface and pull-out supports, above four graduated dovetailed drawers, over shaped skirt with banded inlay perimeter, all resting on splayed feet; ht. 75, wd. 42, dp. 21.5 in.
Repairs to splits on apron, cracking of veneer, repair to sections around pull-out supports, repair to pediment, some repair to bottoms of drawers (top and bottom section), splits to both sides of lower case, replaced hardware.
