A coin silver trophy pitcher by Nathan Hazen (1809-1851), of helmet form with scrolling handle and bands of grapevine decoration, engraved on body Premium / For best 2 year old / Awarded by Miami Valley A.S. / To Hazlewood / Oct. 1838 / owned by A. Trimble. Impressed maker's mark on underside of foot; ht. 10.25 in. (at handle), ht. 9.5 in. (at spout), silver wt. 20.80ozt (647g).
