Ohio Cherry Corner Cupboard in Old Finish
American (probably Ohio), 19th century. A one-piece, cherry corner cupboard in an old if not original finish, the upper section having a projecting cornice above two six-light glazed doors, opening to a three-shelf interior with incised plate grooves, all over a single, dovetailed drawer. The lower section with two sunken-paneled doors before a two-shelf interior. Both sections flanked by canted stiles, the whole over a shaped skirt and rising on bracket feet; ht. 82.75, wd. 56.5, dp. 23.5 in.
Some surface wear as would be expected with age and use. Some repairs to cornice with a loss near the center. Glass appears to be original. A few glass panes with some scratches. Glazed door pull replaced. Shrinkage crack to l.l. door panel.
