Regency Double-Pedestal Dining Table
English, early 19th century. A Regency double-pedestal dining table in mahogany, each pedestal having a single-board, rectangular top with rounded corners and reeded edges, supported by a ring-turned pedestal and rising on three reeded, sabre legs ending in brass floral caps and casters, includes one leaf; ht. 28, wd. 49, lg. 76.75 in. (with leaf).
Surface wear and imperfections as would be expected with age and use, including some nicks, chips, and leg scuffs. Some scattered shrinkage cracks. Some of the battens reset (marks from previous placement visible).
