This is a very nice specimen of a "Tower" marked Brown Bess. All brass mountings have a nice untouched patina. Walnut stock is in very good shape with minor nicks and dings. The lockplate, hammer, and frizzen all have minor pitting that blends very well to a brown. The barrel has some light pitting at the top of the barrel that blends quickly to a brown throughout the rest of the barrel. Has an even look and feel. The markings are sharp and crisp. The bore has some pitting. Overall condition is very good.
