Two-Drawer Work Table in Figured Maple, Plus
American, 19th century. A two-drawer work table in bird's-eye and tiger maple, having a square, one-board top with applied molding around the edges above two dovetailed and graduated drawers with glass knobs, all rising on four turned legs terminating in ball feet, PLUS a Sheraton one-drawer stand in mixed woods, having a rectangular, two-board top above one dovetailed drawer, all rising on four delicately turned and reeded legs ending in cylindrical feet; largest ht. 30, wd. 20.75, dp. 18.25 in.
Two drawer work table: Small spot of wood putty on rear right corner of top. Light age crack across the face of the bottom drawer. Some minor cracks to feet with a chip to back of front left foot.
One drawer stand: Some surface wear as would be expected with age and use. Age split and repair to rear right corner post just above the turned portion of the leg. Age split to interior bottom of rear panel near the left leg. Drawer knob replaced. Some height loss.
