French Carved Oak Desk, c. 1870, the stepped top with an inset red baize writing surface over a center knee hole flanked by two shallow drawers, on turned tapered cylindrical legs, the rear with four faux drawers, H.- 30 in.,W.- 55 in., D.- 38 in.Condition as is. Two holes in felt top, one is approx. ½ inch, and the other is approx. 1 inch. Scratches and scuffs per normal use. Some staining to felt. Felt may benefit from patches or being replaced. No key is present but all drawers can open. Lock n proper left drawer compartment is detaching from divider. Veneer is chipping in multiple areas of desk skirt. ________________________________________________________________________________ ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD "AS IS."
