A Pre-Prohibition, circa 1900, self-framed tin advertising sign featuring an aerial view of the Diamond State Brewery, Jos. Stoeckle Brewing Company in Wilmington, Delaware. The sign depicts the brewery complex with smoking chimneys, a flag, and two portraits of men at the top. About 36 x 24 inches.
The sign is in very good condition. There are some scratches, spots and wear consistent with its age. The colors are vibrant, and the imagery is clear. We like that this piece is in its all original, as-found condition.
Winning bidders will receive an invoice within 3 days of auction close detailing shipping costs and insurance. Bidders may opt to accept the risk of loss or damage in transit and forego insurance by contacting auctioneer.
