• Lot Description
  There are 2 huipils and 2 tapestries. There is one tapestry with 6 panels repeating the same picture. There are birds, horses, and an animal possible mounting the other. It is on white cotton and the embroidery is in green, yellow, red, and orange. Several spots from where the embroidery has bled. It measures 29"x29". The other tapestry has 4 panels with humans and an animal mounting another. The embroidery is in orange, red, and green. A lot of the dye had bled onto the cotton fabric. It measures 33"x29". There is a huipil in red and white vertical stripes that are close together. The neckline is a v neck and there are tassels on the sides. Small and colorful embroidery patches are featured alongside fringe at the bottom. It is in good condition and it measures 28"x28" with.5" fringe. The last huipil is made from denim and it has long sleeves. There is a v neck and embroidery on the cuffs, top of the pockets, and the upper chest. There are two pockets on the front and white vertical bands on the lower portion. At the top, there are alternating blue and white stripes with yellow and green geometrics thrown in. The embroidered parts depicts flowers and more specifically roses. It is in good condition. Laid flat: Length: 27.5", Shoulders: 23", Sleeves: 19", and Chest: 22". In house Flat Rate Shipping of $20 is a domestic shipping estimate for the first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy. Each additional lot we can pack in the same box is $5-10 each.

  Please note, antique clothing, over 100 years old, and some vintage clothing, may not be suitable wearing. Please consider all photos and descriptions prior to bidding. In House Shipping costs: typically, 1st Clothing Lot Ships for $20-$25, (Smaller Accessories 1st Lot, $10-15), each additional lots are $5-10.

  • In House Shipping is available and we will combine for economy. We will charge a $5 per additional lot within the same box. All items are shipped with Insurance. In person pick up is also available in our Princeton, NJ Auction Facility.
