- Lot Description
4 vintage ditty bags inspired by those from the 1930s and a shirt. The denim bag is from the 1930s and these ditty bags were used as storage for small items. The denim bag has a white string to secure the pouch and it is in good condition. There is a white ditty bag with palm trees printed on it and a drawstring is on it. A yellow ditty bag with palm trees in brown, white, and green. There is an opening but not a drawstring to keep it securely closed.There is a ditty bag that needs to be pieced together, made from polyester. There are shells and ocean plants featured on it. The last shirt include is a shirt by Manhattan and it has short sleeves and it is a button up. There is a pocket on the chest, made from cotton. Three pockets are on the front in total and there are flying birds, ships, mountains, and houses. It is in good condition. Laid flat, it measures: Length: 25", Shoulders: 16.5", and Chest: 19". This was part of a NYC Archival Collection of Textiles for reproduction and inspiration purposes. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $20 is a domestic shipping estimate for the first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy. Each additional lot we can pack in the same box is $5-10 each.Please note, antique clothing, over 100 years old, and some vintage clothing, may not be suitable wearing. Please consider all photos and descriptions prior to bidding. Please contact Dana Auctions directly with any questions. In House Shipping costs: typically, 1st Clothing Lot Ships for $20-$25, (Smaller Accessories 1st Lot, $10-15), each additional lots are $5-10.
