The Medicine Lodge Treaty of 1867 created reservations that were assigned to the Kiowa, Comanche, and Apache tribes in the western portion of Indian Territory (present-day Oklahoma). The commissioners signing the treaty included Harney, Augur, Terry, and Sanborn, and numerous chiefs of the various tribes signed with their marks. According to Rare Book Hub, this uncommon imprint was last sold by Eberstadt in 1964. Eberstadt 164-329.
