A fine, large lithograph depicting Sherman's famous "March to the Sea". Artist Felix Octavious Carr Darley (1822-1888) captures a chaotic scene, with Union soldiers chopping down telegraph poles, pulling up railroad tracks, killing cattle, and destroying homes. The march would take Sherman's forces Southeast through Georgia from Atlanta.
