  Sixth plate full-length portrait tintype. N.p., [mid-19th century]. Half leatherette case. Some tinting to cheeks. 

   

  A interesting occupational photograph. The man in this photo is holding a hammer in one hand and a chisel on the other, yet it appears as if he is sitting on an old daguerreotype camera.
