  Quarter plate seated studio portrait tintype. N.p., [mid- to late-19th century]. Full thermoplastic case featuring the design, "Cupid and the Wounded Stag" (Krainik 36). Case maker's imprint behind photograph. 

   

  A touching photograph of a woman breastfeeding a baby. The quality of this image is unlike any other, especially with being able to keep this baby still enough for the photographer to capture its likeness so clearly.
