• Lot Description

  Sixth plate waist-up studio portrait ambrotype. N.p., circa mid-19th century. Separated full leatherette case. 

   

  Sixth plate ambrotype of a little girl staring directly at the camera. Her cheeks feature a slight pink, hand-colored after the photo was produced. She is seated with a white dog on her lap, who is looking off to the side. A nice addition to those collecting early photographs.
