They are listed as follows: "One negroe man Harry... $300 / 1 Do Do Moses... 500 / 1 Do Do Tom... 800 / 1 Do Do Isham... 300 / 1 Do woman Scharlot... 400 / 1 Do Do Dice... 700 / 1 Do child Mary... 300 / 1 Do Do Maria... 250 / 1 Do Do Pelina... 200 / 1 Do Do Levina... 400".

According to Kentucky Pioneer and Court Records: Abstracts of Early Wills, Deeds and Marriages from Court Houses (Lexington, 1929), Berry had four daughters — Nancy, Susannah, Elizabeth and Anna — and two sons — William and James — with his wife Sarah (61). Records show Berry was born in Middlesex, Virginia, and had three other brothers. It is unclear when he moved to Kentucky, but he was there by 1783 to marry Sarah.
