The bypass ring format is among the most graceful architectural solutions in ring design, two elements that appear to pass through each other without touching, creating visual tension around the finger rather than mass above it. Two Akoya cultured pearls of closely matched size, 8.80 and 9.30 millimeters, in white with light cream overtone provide the bypass elements, while 1.32 carats of G-H/VS pavé diamonds wrap the shoulders in brightness. Pearls show faint spotting; minor oxidation on the yellow gold is noted.
