The work measures (11 x 8 5/8) and belongs to a private collection. This work embodies an artistic style reminiscent of Nico Molenkamp's. He was a painter and draftsman. He trained at the Tilburg Academy of Visual Arts, the predecessor of the current one, and later attended the National Higher Institute of Fine Arts in Antwerp from 1949 to 1953. After his training in figurative painting in Antwerp, he returned to Tilburg, where he became an independent painting instructor at the Academy of Visual Arts until 1982. He primarily painted abstract figures of animals and humans, drawing inspiration from the circus, theater, and fairs. 3.
