Offered is a Cartier sterling silver “Paul Revere Reproduction” bowl, measuring approximately 4 inches in diameter and weighing 138.7 grams. This refined example follows the classic colonial form originally made famous by the 18th-century American silversmith Paul Revere. Cartier produced a series of sterling reproductions of historic American silver forms during the mid-20th century, combining traditional craftsmanship with the prestige of the Cartier name. These pieces remain desirable among collectors of fine silver and luxury decorative arts. The underside bears the stamped marks: PAUL REVERE REPRODUCTION Cartier STERLING 1227 ½ 4 IN The bowl features a traditional rounded body with stepped circular foot and polished finish.
