Thirty Temperance Movement Magic Lantern Slides, 19th/20th Century,
T.H. McAllister, McIntosh Stereoopticon Co. and other social commentary slides about drinking alcohol and their possible consequences as part of the late 19th Century Temperance Movement. Signing the Pledge, Happy Home Wrecked and Juggernaut are some of the titled slides in unfinished wooden frames. In a wooden box.
Framed Dimensions: H: 4 x W: 6 7/8 x D: 3/8 in.Condition
Three have 3 in. cracks, a wooden case is split and repaired, one has a 3 in/ crack and another a 2 3/8 in. crack. General wear commensurate with age and use.
