Ted Williams Signed Baseball - J.B. Sports COA
Single-signed baseball autographed by Boston Red Sox legend and Hall of Famer Ted Williams. Widely regarded as one of the greatest pure hitters in Major League Baseball history, Williams remains among the hobby’s most iconic and respected Hall of Fame figures.
The baseball features a light blue-ink signature positioned on the sweet spot area and is housed in a protective display cube with “Ted Williams 521” identification nameplate referencing his career home run total. While the autograph has naturally faded over time, it remains visible and identifiable overall, presenting as an accessible example of a Ted Williams single-signed baseball tied to one of the most legendary hitters in baseball history.
Nicknamed “The Splendid Splinter,” Williams captured two American League MVP Awards, six batting titles, and finished his Hall of Fame career with a remarkable .344 lifetime batting average and 521 home runs. He remains the last Major League player to bat over .400 in a season, accomplishing the feat with a .406 average in 1941.
Authentication & Provenance
Accompanied by a J.B. Sports Certificate of Authenticity.
Condition
The baseball displays moderate age toning, discoloration, and general storage-related wear throughout. The signature has experienced noticeable fading over time but remains legible and identifiable overall. Display cube exhibits expected surface wear from handling and age. Please refer to photographs for complete condition details.
