Willie Stargell Signed Louisville Slugger Bat (Greenshields Collection)
A Louisville Slugger bat signed by Hall of Famer Willie Stargell, one of the most powerful hitters of his era and a beloved figure in Pittsburgh Pirates history.
The bat features a clear signature on the barrel and presents well as a display piece honoring the longtime Pirates captain, 1979 National League MVP, and World Series champion.
The bat is a retail model and does not exhibit game use; however, it presents as an attractive display piece tied to one of the most respected sluggers of his generation.
Authentication & Provenance
While this item is not accompanied by third-party authentication, the signature and overall presentation are consistent with other known examples from the era. The piece originates from the Greenshields Collection, a long-held private collection assembled over many years and featuring a broad selection of autographed sports memorabilia and professional model equipment.
