- Lot Description
A 19th-century Caucasian kindjal dagger of a slightly unusual form, in particular its handle and guard being more squat and round than a typical kindjal. The guard and pommel of the dagger are decoratively chased, as is the blade, which shows a large floral design at the forte of its fullered blade. Near the floral design is the inscribed date '1896'.

Condition
Very good. The tip is still very pointy. Very minor pitting to the blade. Some small chips to handle. Engravings are clear and present. One rivet is missing on the grip.
