• Lot Description

  A very fine French naval dagger/dirk from the 19th century. The blade is straight and double-edged with an ebony grip, a brass pommel with decorative elements, and an inverted cruciform crossguard with conforming decorative elements. The scabbard is of black leather with brass fittings and two loose suspension rings.

  Excellent condition. General signs of wear due to age. nice patina throughout the metal.
