Surrounding Christ are angels, saints, and prophets with halos. The left panel depicts St. Modestos, Patriarch of Jerusalem in bishop’s vestments, holding a book, with a golden halo. The right panel shows St. Vlasie the Hieromartyr, also dressed in ornate ecclesiastical clothing, holding a scroll or a book.
