- Lot Description
A lot of 3 brightly colored lithographs depicting scenes of various Imperial German regiments, the Koniglich-Sachsisches Feld-Artillerie Regiment Nr.12 in the field, the Infanterie-Regiment „von Lutzow“ (1 Rhein.) Nr.25 with their Colonel (Oberst), and a parade scene showing the Infanterie-Leib-Regiment Nr.2 „Kronprinz“ alongside 3. Chevelaugers-Regiment vac. „Herzog Maximilian“ during the Guard Mount in Munich.
All were printed by the Werner Company of Akron, Ohio in the United States. All with the name of the artist who designed them; G. Arnold. Each artwork is bordered by a bright gilt trim.
17 1/2 x 12 1/2 in., (44.5 x 31.8 cm.)
Condition
Very good, with minimal foxing consistent with age. Gilding shines brightly. Tiny tears at very edge of paper, no loss or damage to artworks.
