• Lot Description

  A group of 4 lithograph portraits of important European leaders, including Emperor Napoleon III of France, Victor Emmanuel II King of Sardinia (later the King of Italy), and the British Prime Ministers Lord John Russell and Henry John Temple, 3rd Viscount Palmerston. All lithographs were drawn and engraved by Daniel John Pound (1820-1894) for the London Printing and Publishing Company during the 1850s.

  10 3/4 x 7 1/4 in., (27.3 x 18.4 cm.)

  Condition

  Very good, with expected light foxing consistent with age. Some light fraying at edges of paper on some items, no damage to the artwork.
