• Lot Description

  A group of 5 lithograph portraits of British and French Naval and Military commanders who served during the Crimean War, including Admiral Edmund Lyons, Marshal François Certain de Canrobert, Vice-Admiral Sir Richard Saunders Dundas, Colonel John Studholme Brownrigg, and Admiral Ferdinand-Alphonse Hamelin. All lithographs were drawn and engraved by Daniel John Pound (1820-1894) for the London Printing and Publishing Company during the 1850s.

  10 3/4 x 7 1/4 in., (27.3 x 18.4 cm.)

  Condition

  Very good, with expected light foxing consistent with age. Some light wear at edges of paper on some items, no damage to the artwork.
