Comprising three finely worked Chinese silver bird figures, each modeled in animated naturalistic pose and richly decorated with polychrome enamel. The group includes a long-tailed bird standing on a shaped rectangular hardwood stand, its body covered in turquoise, cobalt blue, green, and white enamel scales with applied beadwork forming the crest and tail ornamentation, a second bird depicted mid-step on an oval hardwood base, rendered with cloisonne-style enameled plumage in iridescent blues, greens, and purples, and a third bird perched on a carved and stained wooden stump-form stand, its silver body chased with feather detail and highlighted with translucent and opaque enamels in green, blue, yellow, and red tones. Each figure demonstrates high-quality metalwork with carefully articulated wings, tails, and talons, reflecting Qing dynasty decorative traditions and the late 19th-century Chinese export fascination with brightly enameled figural silver objects. The birds are presented on fitted hardwood stands, likely original, enhancing their sculptural presence and visual balance.
