A lot of two separate walking canes, the first being a smaller cane formed from a knobby stick with a handle which has been very nicely carved with the face of a bearded man wearing a cap over his long, braided hair. We estimate the age to be late 19th or very early 20th century.
The second cane being a simple hook shape decorated with a sleeve of bright red, orange, yellow, and white beads in the Native American style, affixed to the bottom with a rubber foot. We estimate its age to be around the middle of the 20th century.
Longer cane: 37 in., (94 cm.); Shorter cane: 30 in., (76.2 cm.)
Carved cane with some minor hairline cracks due to drying of wood, light surface wear consistent with use, overall good condition. Beaded cane in near perfect condition.
