This bronze sculpture is titled "The Youthful Franklin." It is a commemorative casting of the famous work by R. Tait McKenzie, originally commissioned in the early 20th century to honor Benjamin Franklin’s humble beginnings. The piece depicts a young Franklin as a journeyman printer, walking with a bag and staff, based on the story of his arrival in Philadelphia.
