A porcelain figure titled Ballerina (After Anna Pavlova as the Dying Swan) by Lomonosov Porcelain Factory (formerly Imperial Porcelain Factory), Leningrad. Modeled after the original by Natalya Danko (1892–1942), ca. 1930s. A seated ballerina is posed in a languid, stylized position, her head tilted back. She wears a feathered white costume with black detailing and ballet slippers with painted ribbons.

This piece belongs to a celebrated group of Soviet-era ballerina figures modeled at the Lomonosov (Imperial) Porcelain Factory. These figures were inspired by famous Russian ballerinas, especially Anna Pavlova, and modeled in part by Natalya Danko, one of the most important sculptors working at the factory.
