A striking pair of hand-blown art glass vases by contemporary American glass artist Robert Eickholt, renowned for his use of vivid colors, iridescent finishes, and internal optical effects. Left vase: bulbous body with flared rim, featuring swirling red and silver iridescent ribbons on a blue background, with a pulled “pinch†detail adding sculptural interest. The surface has a lustrous, crackled effect characteristic of Eickholt’s experimental approach. Right vase: Tall ovoid form with slightly flared rim, decorated with iridescent blue, violet, and green hues, overlaid with undulating organic bands and circular millefiori-style accents, creating a mesmerizing abstract composition. Artist note: Robert Eickholt (b. 1947) has been creating studio glass since the 1980s, blending traditional techniques with contemporary design. His pieces are celebrated for their rich color palettes, iridescent sheens, and luminous, layered appearances.Tallest: 7 1/2 in., (19.1 cm.)Appears in excellent condition. Iridescent surface with vivid red and blue swirling patterns is bright and uniform. No visible chips, cracks, or scratches. No evident wear on the rim or base from the image.
